Welcome to Carol's Metal Clay Classes.  I run introductory and specialist workshops using Silver Precious Metal Clay (PMC) at my home studio in Burnley (Richmond).  Small group workshops - maximum 5 people and private tuition are offered.
Not only will you learn how to use this amazing material, but you'll take home a couple of pieces of jewellery you have created.

                        A little about me

My name is Carol Gregory and I began my love affair with jewellery making back in the 1970's.  Though my life has had many twists and turns my interest in jewellery making has been a constant and since I discovered Precious Metal Clay in 2006 it has become a focus in my life.   Since taking my first PMC class with my teacher, mentor and friend Maggie Bergman, I've been to many workshops including several with international artists including Tim McCreight, Barbara Becker Simon, Holly Gage, Robert Dancik, Hadar Jacobson, Keith Lo Boe and Susan Lenart Kazmer where I've gained skills in many techniques using metal clay.  In 2007 I started teaching others how to work with PMC.

I am active in the PMC Guild Australia, being the Victorian representative on the Executive committee.  I attended the PMC Guild's annual conference in 2008 and will be going to the  final conference next year.   In 2009 I helped to establish the first Australian local chapter of the PMC Guild which meets in Melbounre 3-4 times a year.
